Martha House’s statement pool blends seamlessly into its unique setting that beautifully combines historical and modern architecture.

As luxury pool builders, the Aloha Pool’s team relied on clever design and workmanship to deliver this purposeful and visually charming pool, which is free of embellishments.

The pool was built as three-sided wet-edge construction sitting 1.3 meters above the ground to meet the relevant safety requirements and ensure compliance with Australian standards. With this clever design, the face of the pool acts as the required safety barrier.

Before the pool construction commenced, the hydraulics were vital due to the distance between the pool's heating functions and the equipment area. Flow and return pipes had to be correctly sized, run, thermally insulated and isolated in a custom-made stainless-steel culvert with several other services running in the same trench.

The spa was uniquely constructed with a three-sided spill-over, allowing the water level for the pool and spa to be the same. A single plane of water, an innovative solution our design team incorporated, achieved the perfect integration between the pool and spa.

With uninterrupted views of the pool from multiple large living spaces and directly out to Port Phillip Bay, this luxury pool is the epitome of simplicity at its best and designed with enjoyment in mind.
