Designed with raw materials that delightfully interplay with the natural beauty of its surroundings, this 13m x 3m luxury pool, combined with a 3m x 2m spa, delivers a seamless indoor–outdoor living experience for this stunning private residence on Brighton's golden mile beach.

Created with an acrylic viewing panel the same width as the house's entrance hall, it provides a clear view of the pool from the moment you enter the house, making it a standout feature of the overall home design.

Built 1200m above ground, the walls of this wet-edge pool eliminate the need for a pool fence and allow for uninterrupted views. The pool's interior is fully tiled with light blue ceramic mosaic pool tiles creating an attractive watercolour.

To address the challenges raised by the pool's proximity to the house and basement, out team of expert pool builders built the pool on piers and constructed it before the basement, which required meticulous precision and quality craftsmanship.

With the wet wall being continuous across the pool and spa, the water level of both had to be the same. To achieve this, the pool's interior was constructed with a hidden gutter system to the pool/spa wall.

Access to the pool is via a path behind the raised end wall, which ensures that the gate and the pool fence cannot be seen from the house. The path leads to stairs that provide access to the rear pool deck area. With careful planning, the deck did not require a balustrade and coupled with the pergola; they've added a significant visual appeal to the overall poolscape.
