Located on the 5th floor of the first Hyatt Centric hotel in Australia, this moody terrazzo-clad pool exudes a retro nineties bohemian feel with a European appeal, targeted at young and savvy business and leisure travellers.
The design of this luxury 25-meter indoor pool beautifully complements the hotel's overall style that draws inspiration from Melbourne's vibrant culture and urban landscape.
A considered detail our team of expert pool builders utilised was fibre optic lighting that provides excellent illumination without emitting any form of heat. This luxury pool was also designed with sound isolation and a curved spillover at one end to promote good water health and wave-free swimming.
Sustainable energy-saving practices were incorporated, which reduced the overall running costs, as heating for the pool was via a heat pump and UV sanitisation located in the plant room on the level below.
This luxury pool, surrounded by lounges partially hidden behind pillars, with a low-lying ceiling to create a cosy, subterranean and private feel, is unequivocally the stylish centrepiece of this lifestyle hotel.
