To achieve this, the pool's design incorporated expansive acrylic panels that beautifully merge the building and the swimming pool. These panels not only provide a retaining structure for the pool water but also act as a unique wind barrier, protecting the internal communal spaces from the elements.

Extensive engineering modelling was required to account for additional wind loads on the panels. To manage expansion and contraction, the pool opted for three equally segmented units rather than a single panel. Stainless-steel structural mullions were introduced to provide additional support to the panels, ensuring their longevity and stability.
