Set in a steeply sloping green landscape and offering breathtaking ocean views, this luxury pool creates the experience of an endless horizon with its wet edge that overlooks the bay.

Located on a cliff edge on the Mornington Peninsula, the pool was designed with architectural elements to give it the appearance of floating above the terrain and hoovering over the grass.

Expert craftsmanship and innovative construction methods were required to deliver this cantilevered edge, fully suspended luxury pool - a design that isn't common in domestic level pools. Despite the cantilever aspect adding a layer of complexity with the additional steel requirement, the structure allowed for a seamless transition from the house to the pool.

The design incorporated three different styles of negative edge - one under the deck, one into a hidden gutter, and one into an open gutter, highlighting the level of accuracy and knowledge required from our team for this iconic pool.

To keep the surroundings tranquil the pipework was sound insulated, and the pool filter box soundproof. The equipment, located under the deck, was acoustically isolated to keep the deck area free from noise disturbances.
