Myrtha Pools

A unique approach was employed for this Learn to Swim Facility situated in Melbourne's Outer East. Utilising Myrtha Pools technology, a 25 by 7-meter pool was crafted in Italy and subsequently installed on-site with impeccable precision, culminating in the creation of an exceptional facility within an impressively short timeframe.

The client's aspiration was to establish a customised learn-to-swim facility in the outer reaches of Melbourne's East, and they engaged us for preliminary concepts and cost estimations. Various alternatives were explored, taking into account the distinct requirements of the pool as well as predefined design visions for the facility. Swiftly, the determination was made that the swimming pool would be made as a prefabricated, stainless steel structure to be assembled on-site, with invaluable assistance from Myrtha Pools.

Our team was responsible for the design of the swimming pool, which was subsequently manufactured in Italy and then meticulously assembled under local supervision. This strategic choice was rooted in the necessity of adhering to project timelines. The nature of the swimming pool construction, and how it harmonised with the project's schedule, necessitated that the swimming pool tank be conceived, engineered, and dispatched for installation while the primary facility construction was already underway. The construction of the principal facility, including pool excavation, foundational slabs, pavement, and pool equipment, was substantially completed prior to the introduction of the Myrtha pool system.

The principal challenge lay in the unwavering precision demanded by the pool's designs and the corresponding building structure. The swimming pool was essentially pieced together within a pre-established framework. The intricacies of managing associated building activities introduced the primary complexity to the project, encompassing coordination of architectural facets, civil engineering endeavours, and electrical systems.

The pool's construction journey, involving Myrtha Pools technology and seamless coordination, stands as a testament to the possibilities that emerge when vision and expertise unite. The facility's realisation transcends mere aquatic infrastructure, underscoring the power of innovation in reshaping physical spaces to align with aspirations.
