Price Guide

Before providing you with a price estimate Aloha Pools have outlined some general information to assist you in designing your ideal swimming pool.

POOL SIZE: Swimming pools are quoted in measurements of length by width; however a square metre calculation will often give a more accurate indication of actual pool size.

DEPTHS: This is always the actual depth of the water – 1.5 metres is generally accepted as the average depth of a swimming pool.

SHAPE: Building a concrete swimming pool enables you to custom design the pool to the exact shape and size required. Popular types include lap pools, plunge pools, wet-edge pools, geometric pools and freeform or natural pools.

CONSTRUCTION: Swimming pool structure is steel reinforced concrete.

EXCAVATION: The swimming pool excavation would normally be carried out with mechanical equipment i.e. excavator with direct loading of trucks. Suitable access, unless otherwise specified, is to be provided by the owner. If access to the proposed site is limited, a bobcat may also be required and this would generally incur additional costs.

PUMP & FILTERS: The quality of the swimming pool equipment can often be gauged by the length of the manufacturer’s warranty.

INTERIOR FINISH: The pool interior is fully tiled in a standard 58mm ceramic pool tile. A fully tiled pool interior has long been regarded as the premium choice for swimming pools because of the appearance and superior durability. Easy to clean and smooth on your skin, tiles provide deep water colours not readily achieved with other pool finishes.
